Spelling:

Spelling: Check out the following spelling link and bookmark it on your computer:
4th Grade Spelling Practice
Choose unit 1 this week.  Practice the core words for this unit and do the activities.

It would be a good idea to spend 10 minutes a day doing the puzzles and games for this unit.

Reading: “Building A Life in Which Reading Matters”

For the next 2 weeks it is expected that all students will spend between 10-20 minutes reading just right books. They are also responsible for filling out their reading logs for the week. The reading logs are extremely important as students learn to set goals for reading.


Tuesday
o    Math Study link 2.4
o    Reading
o    Reading log – located in the back cover of the homework folder
o    Spelling – look at the website if possible with a parent
o    All Time for Kids money was due today

Wednesday
o    Math Study link 2.5
o    Don’t forget you have PE tomorrow and you will need socks & sneakers
o    Reading
o    Reading Log
o    Spelling
o    Find an object in nature that has 1 of the five patterns we learned about in school.  ( spiral, sphere, branching, packing, explosions) Bring it to school tomorrow and we will be sketching in our science notebooks
